Welcome to V. Valentine Designs

Thank you for visiting V. Valentine Designs! My shop offers decorative long lumbar pillow covers handcrafted in Virginia, USA, using high-quality, natural fiber fabrics and materials.  I love long lumbar pillows and wasn't able to find what I was shopping for on the market, so I created my own. From there, V. Valentine Designs was born. My mother taught me to sew as a young girl, and all these years later, I still enjoy sewing, working with beautiful fabrics, and seeing the finished product come together.

All pillow covers are made to order, so no two are exactly alike. Every order is unique and made just for you! And every pillow has a purpose. V. Valentine Designs donates 15% of profits to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and organizations that support mental illness awareness.  After losing my sister Vernita to suicide, and because of my personal experience with postpartum and clinical depression, I want to improve and save lives one pillow at a time.  Please see our Purpose page for more about Vernita's story and our mission.

Vicky Valentine 

Vicky was born and raised in The Bronx, New York, and now resides in a suburb of Richmond, Virginia.  She holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from the University of Maryland College Park, a master's degree in Interior Design from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has over twenty years of experience in commercial interior design.
